Evey Nelson is an avid reader and researcher.  in the process of studying the Book of James in the Bible several years ago, she was struck how all the verses in the book were words of wisdom, and quoted frequently.  After pondering this discovery, and the fact that the apostle James was the younger brother of Jesus Christ. It became apparent to her that these gems came from a common source. They are words of life that if internalized and followed; they would make one’s life so much happier and productive and the interactions with others would be more loving.  Then the idea came clearly, when you drop Astone in the water and the ripple forms it has a lasting, lingering effect, and when another is touched by the ripple it would change one’s life from the inside out as it is absorbed and embraced.  Jesus being the oldest son was left with the responsibility to care for his mother and siblings when his father Joseph died. Thus, the trilogy of The Ripple was created. 

Volume 1- “The living Water,” is Jesus Christ’s life from birth to twelve years of age.  

Volume 2- “The Stone,” is his life from twelve years to twenty, two years.

Volume 3- “Ripple of Change,” His life from twenty-two to thirty as he begins his ministry and mission. 

The journey is an amazing one for the reader as you learn of the truths as they are manifest in His journey; as He goes from grace to grace, and gives grace for grace.  You will experience the transformation along with Him as you also embrace the ripple of truth.
